The Adult Day Care Program at Saint Mary Home is a community-based health and social program designed to meet the needs of adults who would benefit from a supportive, understanding and therapeutic environment. It can also provide much-needed respite for family caregivers.
Participants enjoy socialization and participation during planned recreational activities with peers during the day while continuing to live in the community in their own home or with family. Certified by Connecticut Association of Adult Day Centers, Saint Mary Home's Adult Day Care program operates as a Medical Model Program and includes the following services:
- Nursing services
- Social services
- Personal care and bathing services
- Recreational programs
- Hot therapeutic meals
- Door-to-door transportation

- Psychiatric services
- Laboratory
- Medical consultations
- Hairdressing services
